General Questions:

Can we provide customization services?
Even though most users can select their own customization requirements through our user-friendly interface, our support team will be happy to offer complete services. Moreover, an expample of a customized implemenation, would be branding your company WorkSpace, creating a direct login accessible from your website, or intranet, or creating customized portals for sharing information with your clients.

How long does it take to set up?
Less than an hour. Most implementations take a few minutes. Depending on the degree of customization required it may take up to a few hours.

What do I do if my company size grows?
Simply add as many users as you would like through a user-friendly administrator interface. Pay as you grow. With Batipi WorkSpaces you can easily scale up or down and only pay for the number of users signed up for your company.

Can we add the login portal to our website?

Can we customize our desktop/homepage with our company logo?
Yes. You can customize your desktop from the administrative module.

Do I need to download anything to run Batipi WorkSpaces?
No. All you need is a browser and an Internet connection.

Is any training required in order to start using Batipi WorkSpaces?
No. Batipi WorkSpaces user-friendly design allows you to begin immediately. WorkSpaces offers free online training and a comprehensive help tool.

Technical Questions

Do I have to buy any additional software or hardware to run this program?
No. Batipi WorkSpaces is an all-inclusive suite of software tools that allows you to access all of your files and information from any web-enabled computer. Just turn on any computer, get online, and you're ready to start. Batipi WorkSpaces will work with Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher and Netscape Navigator 5.0 or higher. There is no software to download, no hardware to install.

How do I get new Batipi WorkSpace features and upgrades?
With Batipi WorkSpaces, new features are always being added automatically, with no need for you to upload or change your equipment. Your WorkSpace account will automatically feature the most current version of the software, updated virus protection, the newest security processes, and many new features. Never worry about upgrades, backups, or maintenance again.

Does Batipi WorkSpaces support Unix/Linux?
Yes. Work Spaces supports Mozilla, which works on Unix/Linux. Although some features work slightly differently on each OS, most functionality is available and similar across Operating Systems.

Does Batipi WorkSpaces support MAC?
Yes. WorkSpaces is fully Mac and cross-browser compatible.


What is your up time for Batipi WorkSpaces?
99.9% of the time.

How much storage do I get with Batipi WorkSpaces?
100 MB per user. An additional 100 MB of disk space can be purchased for $4 per month.

How often do you backup your data at Batipi WorkSpaces?
Data is backed up real-time and on a continuous basis.

Security Questions

Can we get back up disks of our stored data?
Batipi WorkSpaces offers an archiving feature that allows for customers to back up their own data. For more information please contact your account representative for further information at 1-866-297-0829.

If I'm on Work Spaces at an Internet cafe/library/public machine can someone go to the browser history and get into my account? Will the cookies that are stored be a security concern?
No, WorkSpaces uses cookies to keep track of a user's session. The cookies do not contain any confidential data such as the user's username or password.

Is my business data protected with Batipi WorkSpaces?
Yes. Our secure login application prevents unauthorized access to your company's confidential data. A secure (SSL) connection is available for an additional charge and is established with the server at every login. This feature allows for data encryption during its transmission to the servers.

Email
Can I access other email accounts with WorkSpaces?
Like Outlook, you can set up WorkSpaces to read from any POP3 accessible email account. With one simple setup, you'll have one portal to access all of your business and personal email accounts. No more logging into multiple services, searching multiple accounts, or missing critical emails.

Does WorkSpaces synchronize with Outlook?
WorkSpaces can be used as a replacement or as an add-on feature to Outlook. With WorkSpaces, you can synchronize your calendar, contacts, and tasks with your existing Outlook information. Once synchronized, WorkSpaces can replace or be used in conjunction with Outlook, providing access to your entire office online anywhere, anytime in a safe, secure environment.

Does WorkSpaces protect my emails from viruses and spam?
The WorkSpace email system provides an anti-virus service to block viruses and prevent them from reaching your inbox. All affected emails are automatically put in the Quarantine mail folder and deleted after a short period. WorkSpaces also provides a spam control service that redirects all spam emails to the spam mail folder, which is purged periodically.

Can I keep my same email address?
WorkSpaces allows company account users to use a custom email address, such as username@yourcompanyname.com.

Can I setup email aliases in WorkSpaces?
WorkSpaces will let you create email aliases for your company account.

Document Manager
Can I restrict people from viewing/editing/deleting shared files?
WorkSpaces enables a group administrator to define user rights on all the sections of the group. A user can be assigned any combination of read/write/delete/create directories privileges on a group's shared files.

Contact Manager
Can I import contacts from another contact manager/database?
WorkSpaces provides its users with a contacts import tool that allows for data to be imported from a csv (comma separated value) file.

Calendaring/Scheduling
Can you share calendars with people not using WorkSpaces?
Each group in your WorkSpace account comes with a public calendar that's accessible to anyone inside and outside your account.

Can I view other people's schedules?
When scheduling a meeting with other group members, you can check the users schedules to locate the most convenient time for the meeting.
